3 minutes read I started to type, and then I realized I don't have the exact words to convey my thoughts to you. I'm going to have to find the words regardless, and I know I can, because this is something that is very dear to me, and I have struggled with quite a lot. The first time I realized I had clean hands, but not a pure heart, I felt really sad. I couldn't understand it. I couldn't understand why I'd imagine myself doing things I had never done, and hoped to God that I'd never do. That went on for a while, and I was really irritated by it, until a particular Sunday. The preacher at church encouraged us to speak to our leaders about the things we struggle with, because it was necessary for our freedom. At this point I was simply tired and wanted to stop having those thoughts, so I waited after service and went to see a counsellor. I decided to speak with some of my friends, and I started out by asking them if they ever get lonely, LOL , and their rather strong affirmative responses, assured me that I am quite okay. and it's only human to feel lonely. 4 minute read I'm seeing a series on Netflix, and I saw a scene that got me thinking, ‘Adam and Eve were so lucky to have a clean slate as part of their love story’. You know, no issues from past relationships or their upbringing or from taking in terrible advice. But even that didn’t last long. I don’t want to imagine what their relationship was like after the Apple eating episode and being banished from the Garden of Eden. The only difference between you and the next person is, that person has recognized and addressed their ‘issues’, so it’s no longer baggage they carry around. 3 minutes read We’ve all been there at some point. You are not dating anyone, and on some days you are a strong independent person that doesn’t need anybody. On other days, well, let’s just blame it on that Instagram post or the romantic movie you saw. You are still a strong independent person. But between you and I, some days are hard and you want to be able to call someone and share the tiny unimportant details with them and have them laugh at your not very funny jokes ( see how I didn’t say ‘boring’, more positivity, less negativity... New Years are reputed with resolutions, and goal setting, so let's make 2021 the year we seek God out of a pure heart. PURITY- The condition or quality of being pure Grace, arguably the most used 'Christian word', helps us to understand that sin does not cause God to love us any less. God's love is constant. That's a truth based on the word of God (Romans 8:38-39) . So, what is it that prevents me from engaging in the activities that bring me pleasure, especially if I'm not crossing THE LINE, or hurting anyone, or involving anyone else?  The problem with sexual impurity is the place it takes in your heart .
